Drink and Lose?

The cocktail Diet, I hope this is rated G, I don’t see why not, it isn’t too much as you will be careful. Liquor, being about 100 calories whether it’s a jigger, a cooler with low sugar, or, lite beer, is the mainstay of the diet.

You snack on a drink 5 times a day, one every three hours. That is 100 calories to 120 each using sugar less mixtures and combinations totalling 500-600 calories and very few carbohydrate grams. You take a full spectrum multi-vitamin and any of your other favorite other supplement, saw palmetto for prostrate or  breast enhancement, extra E for heart and skin and C for cold season that you want to take.

Breakfast, at mid morning or lunch, consists of an omelet with 4 egg whites, 2 egg yolks and seasonings plus 3/4 oz of processed cheese singles (one individually wrapped slice) prepared in a teflon coated pan that has been lightly  buttered with a spray on non-stick coating that contains no flour or with margarine from a stick of margarine. Lemon tea, coffee, kool-aid or such with no sugar are the beverage.

Here is a link to some cocktail choices. Drinks here and above refer to one jigger as a base.

Here is a creative commons shot of a well-stocked liquor pantry, some cocktail glassware and so on. Make it pretty while you are at it.

Black Saturn Bag

Black Metallic Shoulder Bag

Use something with metallic woven into the yarn. Even Red Heart has colors with metallic sometimes.
The beads are red, natural, brown and dark green with the natural color being the largest, use from 7 to 9 beads for the drawstring ties.
Substitute the metallic for the chenille. Additional beads are then strung on the ties.

Odds and Ends Throw

Odds & Ends ThrowNote: Make the fringe multicolor. Colors used:

Medium Gray

Navy Blue

Denim Teather

Avacodo Green

Golden & Cream Speed-cro-sheen held double

Some Solid, Some color changed on the diagonal, Some have contrast color in the center & some have contrast color for the border.

Put no more than 4 or 5 solids same color blocks in one place.

Make fringes 8 inches long with black, green & rust.

Crochet a black border of 6 rows of single crochet at 2 opposing ends

Make 132 squares. Sew together with size 16 darning needle. Change colors to match section you are working with.

For Square: Chain 3, slip stitch into first chain, to make the start ring,  chain 3, 3 double crochet into ring, chain 2* 4 double crochet into ring, chain 2* repeat between stars 3 times-first group of chain 3, 3 double crochet counts as 4 double crochet-so you have a four cornered square with 15 dc and one chain 3 this is the same as 16 double crochet, at each corner is a chain 2-this is Round 1, join final chain 2 to first chain 3 (dc substitute stitch).

Round 2, Chain 3, double crochet in next 3 dc, *2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in corner chain 2*, [4 dc-1 in each stitch before corner chain 2, repeat corner from *to*], repeat from ‘ [‘ to ‘]’ twice more making four sides and 32 stitches.

Round 3, Repeat round two except Chain 3, double crochet in next 7 dc, *2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc in corner chain 2*, [8 dc-1 in each stitch before corner chain 2, repeat corner from *to*], repeat from ‘ [‘ to ‘]’ twice more making four sides and 48 stitches. Fasten off.

When changing colors, change at the corner on each subsequent row, or change at the beginning of one of the rows. The colors are good with only one or two colors per most of the blocks. If you run short you can put more than two colors in from 3 to 7 blocks and get this look that looks great with the multi-colored tassels on the ends.

Note: I use the lighter color of yarn for sewing the squares together, like if the squares are ecru and olive and rust, I sew the edges with ecru for all of them. And, if the squares are black, rust and navy I sew the edges with the rust.
